COPIES OF THE TWO FILMS

As far as is known, only two films were ever made of the School.  

The first, shot on 16mm and in black and white was produced in about 1959.
The photographer clearly had focus problems (probably an equipment fault), but this short film is something of a classic and records various classes in session. Plans are for this to be restored during 2019.

The second was shot on 8mm colour film in June 1967.  Like the earlier film, it records several classes, some sportsday activities, the swimming gala and provides a fascinating record of the School just two years before it closed.

Cinematic masterpieces they are not, but they are fun, especially if you can spot yourself or your old class mates!
