A site containing descriptions and information about a wide range of black and white printing papers.
Specialist London retailer of photographic materials with a useful web site. Particularly good descriptions of a wide range of specialist printing papers. Good for lith printing info.
A truly comprehensive collection of technical information presented as a 'home page' by Mike Ware. Contains descriptions of a wide range of alternative processes with instructions. These include the Argyroprocess, Cyanotype and Platino-Paladium printing. Also has a section with links to other sites - so many you could get lost, so remember your way back and make sure you have bookmarked the PHOTOLINK site!
Agfa's UK site with access to lots of technical data sheets and production information.
Ilford's US site (much the same as the UK version) with useful technical information about their film and paper
Free Style Photo Store

The Freestyle Sales Co is an American mail order store for photography. It has some really useful technical information and a great section for teachers of photography. Mainly aimed at schools rather than colleges. We are not sure whether it is possible to buy goods from the site for shipping to the UK but the place is worth a visit for all the advice and links.
We were really impressed with this search engine when we tried it with a few photo technical queries. We think you will find it worth trying. It works with other subjects, even problems with your car!
