THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ARE:
Applicants must present a portfolio or show reel which is essential. Also required are 3 Scotish 'Highers' or 2 GCE 'A' levels and five GCSE passes (Grade C or above) including English language. A Foundation course in art & design is acceptable as an alternative. Applicants with equivalent qualifications will be considered. These include SCOTVEC/BTEC or similar, National Certificates or Diplomas. Mature studenst (over 21) who do not meet the formal requirements but have industrial or other appropriate experience may also be considered.

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE ESSENTIAL FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• Evidence of creative or artistic ability by presentation of a folio or test.

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE DESIRABLE FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• Some professional experience in a job of which photography was a part.
• A lower level course in photography or a course of which photography was part.
• A lower level of course of which general art or graphics was a part.
