Parliament Hill School is part of the LASWAP 6th Form Consortium,
a group of 4 north London schools with a 6th form population of
over 1,000. Photography is offered as a specialist option within
the Art & Design faculty. After an initial grounding in
photographic techniques, students work towards a submission for
the OCR Art & Design Photography 'A' level.
We encourage students to follow a wide range of options but they
are free to specialise in the second year. Areas of study include
fine art, photography, documentary, portraiture etc. and school
work is liberally enhanced by gallery visits and location shoots.
The emphasis of this course is on creativity and the pursuit of
personal ideas.

THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ARE:
'A' level entry requirements are 5 GCSE passes at grade C or
above. Students may be accepted with no previous knowledge of the
subject but must have a strong background in art. Prospective
students are asked to complete a pre-course project during the
summer of entry.
