THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ARE:
To DipHE stage: 1 GCE 'A' level plus 3 GCSEs/GNVQ level 3 with merit. To BA (Hons) stage: 2 GCE 'A' levels plus 3 GCSEs/GNVQ level 3 with distinction. Applicants will normally have undertaken a foundation course in art and design.

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE ESSENTIAL FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• Evidence of creative or artistic ability by presentation of a folio or test.

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE DESIRABLE FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• A lower level of course of which general art or graphics was a part.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This course offers studies in a range of visual communication fields. The modular structure encompasses the design and application of the visual image in video, graphics, illustration, photography, animation and computer based imaging. It incorporates traditional and evolving technologies in an innovative way through a range of communication design experiences.
