THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ARE:
Entrants should have 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above combined with either, a BTEC National Diploma Course in an Art & Design subject, a Foundation course or 2 GCE 'A' level passes. Talented mature students are also invited to apply. All students must attend an interview with a portfolio.

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE ESSENTIAL FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• Evidence of creative or artistic ability by presentation of a folio or test.

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE DESIRABLE FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• A lower level course in photography or a course of which photography was part.
• A lower level of course of which general art or graphics was a part.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
At one time the Higher National Diploma in Photography was housed in the Gloucester College of Arts & Technology (GLOSCAT). This is now a separate institution and has been renamed.
