THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ARE:
5 GCSEs together with a Foundation or BTEC National Diploma course in Art and Design. Alternative qualifications or experience may be considered.

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE ESSENTIAL FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• A lower level of course of which general art or graphics was a part.
• Evidence of creative or artistic ability by presentation of a folio or test.

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE DESIRABLE FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• A lower level course in photography or a course of which photography was part.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The course offers a comprehensive study of the practice of creative photography. Students are expected to develop skills in editorial selection, pictorial decision making, research and documentation, and analysis and using new technologies. Students will also study the way in which the treatment of sill photographs can alter the meaning and examine how they interact with text.
