THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ARE:
The CFA (Apprentice Training Centre) in Paris was established with the agreement of the Regional Council and is controlled by the Chief Education Officer in Paris. There are three types of courses - Apprenticeship (in collaboration with a company), Additional specialist training after obtaining a certificate of professional ability, and Individual week long training programmes paid for either by companies or individuals. Candidates should have completed secondary education, be apprenticed for 3 years and have the approval of the Ministry for 'Formation Professionnelle'

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE DESIRABLE FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• Some professional experience in a job of which photography was a part.
• A lower level course in photography or a course of which photography was part.
• A lower level of course of which general art or graphics was a part.
• Evidence of creative or artistic ability by presentation of a folio or test.
