THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ARE:
Allstudents must have a competence in painting and drawing which is tested by a practical exam. They must also have a knowledge of the history of fine arts and a foreign language.

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE ESSENTIAL FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• A lower level of course of which general art or graphics was a part.
• Evidence of creative or artistic ability by presentation of a folio or test.

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE DESIRABLE FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• A lower level course in photography or a course of which photography was part.
• Some professional experience in a job of which photography was a part.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Studies in photography are offered as part of a general education in fine art. After a fundamental course in photography during the second and third year of study for all fine art students, a group can choose to specialise in photograph, taking a more advanced course (seminar for masters degree) during the later period of the course.
