THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ARE:
Applicants must submit 15 different pictures for review by staff. From a short list of 20, 12 will be selected following an interview. The course qualifies students for all types of newspaper work.

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE ESSENTIAL FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• Evidence of creative or artistic ability by presentation of a folio or test.

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE DESIRABLE FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• Some professional experience in a job of which photography was a part.
• A lower level course in photography or a course of which photography was part.
• A lower level of course of which general art or graphics was a part.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This Institute is founded by the Norwegian press organisation with the aim of furthering journalism as a profession through education, applied research and the publication of professional literature.
